ADHD Ongoing Treatment

When you have been diagnosed with ADHD, you might think "what's next?"

ADHD is a treatable condition with evidence based guidelines.

Medication can be offered if your symptoms are having a significant impact in at least one domain of your functioning. However there are pre-medication checks that are required and your specialist ADHD prescriber will want to stabilise you on medication before requesting a shared care agreement with your GP.

If you have received a diagnosis from another provider we would be more than happy to see you for ADHD treatment but we ask that your diagnostician has taken the same approach in diagnosing you as we would.
